Upon taking either 60 hrs or 85 hrs Foundation in Thai Massage courses or Jap Sen, you will receive 15 credits for members of NHPC. Everyone receives certification approved by Thai Healing Alliance International
It is recommended that you prepare your body at least one month prior to the class by stretching, doing yoga, or strengthening exercises.
I highly recommend you invest in a quality Thai/Shiatsu Mat prior to the start of the course so you have it for practicing right away. It is very important that you have a comfortable mat so that you and your client have a positive experience. The mat is your foundation so make this your priority. Depending on your budget and what kind of practice you will have, I can help you pick the right mat. Expect to spend between $150 to $300.
