A Lifelong Relationship with Thai Medicine
Francie lived in Thailand for a year in her early twenties and has returned regularly ever since to deepen her studies. Her approach blends Traditional Thai Medicine, modern anatomical understanding, and mindful therapeutic presence.
She is currently completing certification in Thai Medical Theory and continues online study in Thai medicine and Dhamma with a Ruesi who lives in Thailand.
A Ruesi “seer” is a keeper of sacred occult sciences, kind of a mix between a Monk and a Shaman.
About Francie
When Francie is not on a Thai mat, you will find her in a kayak, on a mountain top, on her snowboard, on a mountain bike, travelling, or in a retreat.
She finds refuge and rejuvenation in nature, especially amongst old forests.
Before her Thai Massage calling, she worked in forestry and as an international tour guide. She has lived in Israel, Thailand, Guatemala, Belize, and Hawaii.
She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. Her home is in the Kootenays of BC.
Her passion for the natural world extends to wild medicinal herbs, which she has studied and wildcrafted for two decades.
Francie’s greatest gift is her beautiful daughter and granddaughter.
